Sharpie Liquid Pencil

Sharpie’s Liquid Pencil will go perfectly with that copy of 500 Impossible Sudoku Puzzles you got mom for her Bahamas cruise. If she screws up, it erases, just like a regular old pencil. But like dear old dad, there’s no lead left in this pencil anymore. Sharpie calls it “liquid graphite.”

Mediaroom rumors could put Microsoft IPTV on the fast track to success

We’re hearing rumors today that Microsoft’s already hardworking Mediaroom could be putting in overtime in the near future. According to ZDNet, not only is Microsoft working on a Mediaroom client for Windows Phone (aka Rome), but it’s also got a Silverlight-for-Mediaroom project (aka Taos) in the pipeline, with a possible Silverlight-for-Mediaroom STB (aka Santa Fe) also on the way. As if it didn’t already have a heavy workload, the platform is also up for a possible tie-in with Windows Media Center(aka Monaco). All this comes on the heels of chatter that the software giant is considering a new Xbox 360 TV service, incorporating Mediaroom, and news of a Silverlight SOC that could be worked into an STB like Santa Fe. All code names and acronyms aside, it looks like Microsoft is gearing up to give Appleand Google some serious internet TV competition, which means Mediaroom’s going to have say goodbye to happy hour and hello to some serious all-nighters.

Good versus Evil Opus Foosball Table

The Scottish take their foos very seriously. That’s why Edinburgh-based, The Eleven Forty Company, has dedicated itself to producing the world’s finest hand-crafted foosball tables. Their latest creation pits good against evil. The good team features players like Gandhi, Mother Theresa & Santa Claus, while the bad team has Lucifer, Pol Pot & Hitler. That raises the stakes a bit doesn’t it?

With a hefty price tag of $26,000 it could be good or evil.

Godfather Mansion on Staten Island

Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972 classic film The Godfather is an American epic. But do you think you could really get a good night’s sleep in the bedroom where the severed horse head scene was filmed? Admittedly, it’s an odd question. But, considering the mansion from the movie is now for sale, someone’s gonna end up pondering this question. The eight-bedroom, five-bath Staten Island estate sits on 4 acres (enough room for a horse of your own) and is priced at $2.9 million. Buy It Now

iCade iPad Arcade Cabinet

Turn your iPad into a mini stand-up arcade. This is hot-off-the-press from the Consumer Electronics Show that just went down in Vegas. It looks like it will be out in April. I wonder how many of you even remember going to the arcade to play games? Seeing as how cell phones now have better graphics …. I’m guessing not many.

Really Cool Skateboard Animation Video
